Schoolbound v1.9 - 26/4/2025

Hello to the devlog reading Cobolians!

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude for everyone who checked out Schoolbound! The game has reached more people than we have ever imagined within the last week and it's still going strong. This has been extremely motivating for us and we want you to know that you sharing the game to friends, creators and others has made a big impact!

We've been watching some videos and streams by creators and spotted some bugs that have slipped through our tests... so here are the patch notes!

PATCH NOTES:

Changes:

- The Shrine now rewards money to the player directly, instead of spawning coins on the Shrine that the player has to pick up.

Bug Fixes: 

- Fixed a bug where the animation for offering cards at the Shrine was looping.

- Fixed a bug where some hiding areas would not properly hide the player.

- Fixed a dialogue bug for the Bookshop Auntie when choosing the option to not end the game yet.

- Fixed a dialogue bug for the Bookshop Auntie where she can still be talked to when changing scenes.

- Fixed a dialogue bug for the Bookshop Auntie where upon opening a student card, the player's available choices were not the intended choices.

- Fixed a camera bug where sprinting may cause the camera's field-of-view to jump back and forth instead of changing smoothly.
